Community Guidelines

Last Updated: May 4, 2026

Traube is a platform for real-world social events. Our community is built on trust — trust that the events you find here are genuine, that the people you meet are who they say they are, and that everyone is here to connect in good faith.

These guidelines describe what we expect from everyone who uses Traube. They apply to all content you create, all messages you send, and all events you host or attend.

---

BE GENUINE

Be yourself. Use a real name or a name people know you by. Use a photo that looks like you. Do not create fake accounts, impersonate other people, or misrepresent who you are or what your event is about. Authentic connections start with honest representation.

---

BE RESPECTFUL

Treat everyone on Traube — attendees, hosts, and fellow organizers — with basic dignity. Harassment, bullying, threats, and intimidation have no place here. This includes:

- Sending unwanted messages after someone has made it clear they are not interested
- Targeting someone with repeated negative actions
- Making threats or expressing a desire to harm someone
- Coordinating with others to harass a specific person

If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop.

---

KEEP IT SAFE

We care about your physical safety as much as your digital experience.

Do not use Traube to:
- Lure, groom, or exploit minors in any way
- Facilitate trafficking, coercion, or any form of exploitation
- Organize events that are covers for illegal activity
- Arrange meetups with the intent to harm others

If you are hosting an event, you are responsible for ensuring it is a safe environment. Set clear expectations in your event description. If something goes wrong at your event, contact local emergency services first.

---

NO HATE

We do not allow content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. This includes slurs, dehumanizing language, and calls for discrimination.

Discussing difficult social topics is allowed. Dehumanizing people is not.

---

NO EXPLICIT CONTENT

Traube is not an adult content platform. Do not post or share sexually explicit material, nudity, or graphic violence. This applies to event images, profile photos, messages, and any other content on the platform.

---

PROTECT CHILDREN

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any conduct that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors. Any account involved in such content will be immediately terminated and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

For full details see our Child Safety Standards at https://traube.club/child-safety.

---

NO SPAM OR SCAMS

Do not create fake events, send bulk unsolicited messages, or use Traube to promote products or services deceptively. Do not post phishing links or anything designed to steal personal information or money from other users.

---

RESPECT PRIVACY

Do not share another person's private information — home address, phone number, workplace, location data, or any other identifying details — without their explicit consent. This is sometimes called "doxxing," and it is not allowed.

---

REAL EVENTS ONLY

Events on Traube should be real gatherings that people are actually invited to attend. Do not create ghost events to boost visibility, test events in production, or spam event creation. If you are testing the platform, use private visibility.

---

HOW WE ENFORCE THESE GUIDELINES

We rely on a combination of user reports and proactive review to enforce these guidelines.

Reporting: You can report any event, profile, or message using the report button within the app, or by emailing safety@traube.club for urgent concerns.

Response time: We commit to reviewing all reports within 24 hours.

Enforcement actions may include:
- Removing content that violates these guidelines
- Issuing a warning to the account holder
- Temporarily suspending an account
- Permanently terminating an account
- Reporting illegal content to law enforcement

Appeals: If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, email hi@traube.club with the subject "Account Appeal." We will review your case within 5 business days.

SAFETY TIPS FOR IN-PERSON MEETUPS

When meeting new people through Traube:

- Meet in a public place first, especially with people you do not know well
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to be back
- Keep your personal contact information private until you feel comfortable
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it is okay to leave
- Call local emergency services immediately if you feel in danger

Traube does not perform background checks on users. Exercise the same caution you would when meeting anyone new.
